Honors

Honors students are self-motivated, genuinely curious, collaborative, and critical thinkers.

What Is The Honors Program

Honors Program logoWe are a group of students who are curious, ambitious, and diverse. We are looking to get more out of education than a piece of paper.
We have the opportunity to study subjects like Anthropology, English, Biology, and others in a collaborative environment.
After only 5 or 6 classes and a 1-unit capstone project you will be awarded the Honors Certificate of Achievement, which enhances your college resumé.

Why Should I Join

Honors classes fulfill GE requirements and transfer directly to 4yr schools.

Many of our students have gone on to UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Davis and other great schools!

Distinguish yourself to universities and employers.

Rather than being lectured at for hours, our classes are discussion based.

Honors students have a designated lounge where they can study and collaborate.

Who should apply?

Do you enjoy learning?

Do you value intellectual discourse?

Are you curious about a variety of topics?

Do you want to discuss global ideas and original works?

Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your goals in 250 words or so?

Guess what! If you answered, “Yes!” You're an honors student!
