Butte College featured several live musical performances with the theme of resilience at its main campus this past fall in areturn to live events.
On Nov. 18, “Resilience: Music that Represents the Resilience of the Human Spirit,” directed by Ryan Heimlich and featuring the Butte College wind ensemble, marked the first live musical performance at the college since the pandemic. The next performance took place on Dec. 1 with the Butte College choir presenting “Make Us One: Resilience Through Community.” The choir performance was directed by Dr. Christine Buckstead with accompaniment by Patricia Kelley.
