The Butte College Board of Trustees granted tenure to nine faculty members for the 2020/21 school year. All told, these faculty members represent more than 160 years of combined teaching, research and industry experience.
The cohort of newly tenured faculty includes: Allesandro Baldi, physical science; Kimberly Bartsch, mathematics; Thomas Cox, chemistry; Shannamar Dewey, biological sciences; Patricia Hubbard, nursing; Michelle Kelley, business computer information systems; Lori Koehnen, administration of justice; Amelia Taylor, nursing; and Russell Thomas, welding. Notable among this cohort are four Butte College alumni turned faculty — Thomas, Taylor, Kelley and Hubbard.
